The two sides meet in the first leg of the Round of 16 tie on Thursday.
“On Thursday we will need the support of our fans,” said full-back Rodriguez.
“We need the noise from the stands to beat Inter and earn forgiveness for Saturday’s defeat.”
Wolfsburg were beaten by Augsburg in the Bundesliga over the weekend, while Inter fought back from 2-0 down for a 2-2 draw at Napoli.

“We were tired on Saturday and it’s not easy to play so many games in quick succession,” added De Bruyne.
“Lately we haven’t had much time to recuperate, but on Thursday we will be at 100 per cent against Inter.”
