Inter President Erick Thohir believes Frank de Boer “is the right Coach to exploit talents like” Gabriel Barbosa.
Gabigol was one of two big-money youngsters who arrived at Inter in August, the Brazilian forward having been joined by Joao Mario, and Thohir has every faith in De Boer’s ability to get the best out of the pair.
“We’re proud that Gabigol has chosen our project after showing all of his qualities in the Brazilian League and with his national team,” he was quoted as saying by La Gazzetta dello Sport.
