Former Inter coach Frank de Boer, currently the CT of Holland, said he’s ‘very happy’ for Stefan de Vrij and the Nerazzurri.

The Netherlands coach congratulated the Beneamata for having won their first Scudetto since 2009-10.

“I’m very happy for Stefan and for all of Inter in general,” De Boer told Tuttosport. “Starting with the fans.

“We are talking about a top club, it’s nice that they have returned to victory as a gift for years of domination by Juve.”

The former defender only got 14 games in charge of Inter between August and November in 2016 and said there have been big changes from the team he was in charge of.

“Few players have remained in the team since then,” De Boer said. “It was a difficult moment, they changed three or four coaches, today it’s another Inter.”
