Ajax need a victory over Milan to stay in the Champions League, but Frank De Boer insists “we each have a 50 per cent chance.”
The Coach held a Press conference ahead of tomorrow night’s Group H clash to see who will go through to the knockouts along with Barcelona.
Ajax won their last trip to the Stadio Meazza 2-0, but “it was all different then. Milan had already qualified, while we absolutely had to win,” noted De Boer.

“This time it’s an important game for them, as they are 22 points behind the leaders in Serie A and so it’s a completely different situation.
“We have prepared for this the way we prepare for every game. Some of the younger players perhaps feel the tension more, but this has to be transformed into something positive.
“Aside from the result, matches like this must be valuable experience for them. We’ll have to give our all.
“Milan will try to keep possession. Kaka and Mario Balotelli are great players and we must be wary of them, but we’re also in good shape and can put in a great performance. We must make the most out of the spaces Milan will leave us.
“Who are the favourites? Milan are playing on home turf and are a great side, but I think we each have a 50 per cent chance of qualifying.
“The Rossoneri are improving, but we’re in a great moment of form too.”
It is a special game for Bojan Krkic, who spent one season on loan at Milan after his disappointing spell at Roma.
“I haven’t decided my starting XI yet, so anyone could be in there, including Bojan. I will tell my players the line-up tomorrow afternoon.”
