The Lega Serie A has assigned the TV rights for the period 2021-2024 to DAZN for a reported €840m a season.

Calcio e Finanza reports DAZN has purchased the TV rights from the Lega Serie A four the next three years.

DAZN will pay €840m a season for the rights to broadcast seven matches exclusively per Serie A week and three co-exclusive matches.

Subscribers will therefore be able to watch all the Serie A games of each round of fixtures at DAZN.

The outlet reports only four votes against the streaming platform’s offer, coming from Genoa, Crotone, Sampdoria and Sassuolo.

Atalanta, Benevento, Bologna, Cagliari, Fiorentina, Hellas Verona, Inter, Juventus, Lazio, Milan, Napoli, Parma, Roma, Spezia, Torino and Udinese voted in favour of DAZN.

The League will discuss the co-exclusivity of the three games with Sky Sport Italia, who have offered €70m per season.
