Coach Roberto D’Aversa has extended his contract with Parma to June 2020 after taking them to promotion. “It’s an honour.”
The Ducali went bankrupt in 2015 and have earned three consecutive promotions to go from Serie D to the top flight for 2018-19.
D’Aversa took over in December 2016, leading them from Serie C/Lega Pro, and his contract was due to expire today.
“It is an honour to have the faith of this club,” D’Aversa told the official Parma website.
