Roberto D’Aversa believes Sampdoria ‘must be more clinical’ after their 0-0 draw against Sassuolo.

“In terms of rhythm and intensity, we played very well in the first game against Milan, but because of the episodes, the result was not good enough,” D’Aversa told DAZN.

“We must make fewer mistakes and be more clinical. We haven’t been lucky, Torregrossa and Gabbiadini have picked up injuries, but opportunities may arise from these situations,” he added.

“[Fabio] Quagliarella is being consistent since the beginning of the season, I don’t need to manage him during training sessions, otherwise he wouldn’t have reached this age being so decisive.”
