Parma boss Roberto D’Aversa warns his side can’t keep "throwing away points" after losing 1-0 to Milan at the 88th minute.

Parma boss Roberto D’Aversa warns his side can’t keep "throwing away points" after losing 1-0 to Milan at the 88th minute.
The hosts conceded a last-gasp Theo Hernandez goal that gave Milan a vital victory, just days after letting in a stoppage-time goal from Bologna’s Blerim Dzemaili in last week’s game with Bologna.
“We weren’t prepared for losing the game in the 90th minute. My biggest regret is concerning the league table, as it would have been important to get at least a point," said the coach in a press conference.
“In the last few minutes of the last two games we have given away goals that has cost us three points, and it shouldn’t happen.”
D’Aversa feels Parma’s absences in attack are now starting to be felt.
“I believe that in some circumstances we could’ve done better in attack, it is true. In the first half we did very good in our build up play, but failed in front of goal. Milan performed better than us in both areas.”
Dejan Kulusevski, at the centre of huge attention from the likes of Inter, Juventus and Liverpool, produced a poor display, but D’Aversa believes he still showed commitment.
“In terms of commitment to the team, he was excellent, but his performance was in line with the rest of the squad. We have to give credit to Milan, who did well to nullify him.”
Parma looked a more threatening side with the introduction of Andreas Cornelius, but D’Aversa states the striker wasn’t fit enough to play from the start.
“He couldn’t play more than quarter of an hour. Unfortunately he only did two training sessions and we couldn’t afford to lose him or Gervinho. There are important absences, but he could only do 20 minutes maximum.”
Parma travel to Genoa to take on Sampdoria next weekend.
