Parma boss Roberto D’Aversa says he fears Roma’s “possession of the ball” ahead of their Coppa Italia clash tomorrow.
The Gialloblu welcome the Giallorossi in the Round of 16, and D’Aversa is fearful of their ability on the ball.
“Their best weapon is possession of the ball. They have important qualities in individual battles,” said D’Aversa in his press conference.
"We need to be very good from the point of view of being compact and in understanding their strengths and weaknesses.”
Parma boss Roberto D’Aversa says he fears Roma’s “possession of the ball” ahead of their Coppa Italia clash tomorrow.

“Their best weapon is possession of the ball. They have important qualities in individual battles,” said D’Aversa in his press conference.
"We need to be very good from the point of view of being compact and in understanding their strengths and weaknesses.”
Striker Roberto Inglese is slowly working his way back to full fitness following a lengthy injury, and D’Aversa states that the 28-year-old is getting there.
“Roberto is living with a nuisance, but he has anticipated the times a bit and for that I thank him. His condition is not 100%, but that is normal.”
Parma face Roma and Juventus within three days of each other, so which game would D’Aversa like to lose?
“We can’t choose a defeat because it’s not in the mind-set of a sportsman. We have to be good at thinking about individual commitment. We cannot afford to think further ahead to the game against Juve, we must only think of tomorrow’s game, and after that, focus on going to Turin.”
Parma beat the Giallorossi 2-0 in their first league meeting this season, and D’Avera says their victory wasn’t respected.
“Regarding the first game, there was a lot of talk about the fact that they were not 100% because they played in the Europa League.
“A little bit of our merit was taken away. I expect a quality game because Roma must go on to the pitch and do things in the right way.
“To win again we must repeat what we done the first time, however from a physical and mental point of view we will find a different team.”
