It is now official that the 2023-24 Serie A season will begin on the weekend of August 20 and will conclude on May 26, while the Coppa Italia Final is scheduled for May 15, 2024.
The FIGC and Lega Serie A confirmed the dates for the next season in a meeting today.
The opening weekend will be played on August 20, 2023, followed by a break for international duty in September.
It will conclude with a Scudetto winner on the weekend of May 26, 2024.
The Coppa Italia Final has also been tentatively set for May 15, 2024, again at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome.
The Serie B season kicks off on August 19 and is due to come to a conclusion on May 10, 2024.
That is the end of the regular season, followed by promotion and relegation play-offs.
As for the Serie A Women’s league, that runs from September 16, 2023 to May 19, 2024.
