Inter midfielder Stefano Sensi is expected to have his medical with Leicester City on Monday in a deal worth €3m.

According to Sky Sport Italia, La Gazzetta dello Sport and transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the deal is effectively done.

This is going to be a package of €3m including various bonuses for promotion to the Premier League and a percentage of the sell-on fee.

Sensi should still be in the Inter squad for a final hurrah in Sunday’s trip to Fiorentina, but can then fly out for his medical tests on Monday.

He could well be needed at the Stadio Franchi, as both Hakan Calhanoglu and Nicoló Barella are suspended.

Sensi will be working with Leicester City manager Enzo Maresca and is effectively the replacement for ex-Inter midfielder Cesare Casadei, who was recalled from his loan by Chelsea.

Although Sensi is only 28 years old, he has been on the Calcio scene for a long time, his career stalled by repeated injury problems.
