A meeting held at Lega Serie A’s offices in Milan on Monday also confirmed the draw would take place at Sky Sport Italia’s studios – where it will also be broadcast – on one of the two days.
The new season will begin on the weekend of August 24-25 and conclude on May 23-24, with three midweek rounds.
