“It’s going to be a difficult match and we need to be concentrated from the very beginning. Parma will go out there and give their all, so we need to be hungrier than them to bring home the three points,” Darmian told Inter TV.
“We tried to prepare for this fixture in the best possible way, we studied them and know their strengths. Parma are not going through a positive period of form right now, but they have the players to hurt us on the counter-attack. We’ve got to be wary.”
Nobody in the Inter squad knows Parma better than Darmian, who wore the Ducali jersey for the first three games of this season before his transfer was completed.
“Last year was important for me. I have good memories of Parma, but when the referee blows the whistle, my focus will be entirely on helping Inter.”
