Matteo Darmian admits criticisms are part of football, especially after defeats, but Inter will use them ‘to improve and go on our own way.’

The Nerazzurri lost three of their last four games against Lazio, Milan and Bayern Munich and club directors met players, coach Simone Inzaghi and staff members at an ’emergency meeting’ yesterday.

“It’s going to be a balanced season and we are convinced of our qualities,” Darmian told DAZN.

“We want to have a great season and when you play for a top club like Inter criticisms are normal, especially after bad results. We are going to use them to improve, but also to plug our ears and go on our own way.”
