Danilo suffers setback in Juventus training ahead of Fiorentina clash

Juventus captain Danilo has suffered an injury setback in Juventus training and is now highly likely to miss out on the Bianconeri’s upcoming visit to Fiorentina on Sunday evening according to reports on Tuesday afternoon.

The 32-year-old had suffered a hamstring strain in his left leg while away on international duty with Brazil during the most recent break to domestic action, and had initially been expected to be ruled out for a period of around 20 days.

That meant that his presence in the Fiorentina game was never a guarantee, however, Massimiliano Allegri had reportedly been hoping to welcome the 32-year-old back into the fold for the trip to Tuscany.

Danilo has reportedly picked up a new muscular problem in his leg, and his availability for Fiorentina is now a serious doubt.

In fact, he is likely to miss out on the following weekend’s match against Cagliari as well according to reports from Calciomercato.com.
