“Since I left Porto, this is the season where I’ve had the most consistency and that is what I’ve been looking for,” the former Manchester City man told TNT Brasil.

“Since I left Porto, this is the season where I’ve had the most consistency and that is what I’ve been looking for,” the former Manchester City man told TNT Brasil.
“I’m happy with the way I’m playing, I want to be out there as much as possible and don’t feel tired. This is one of the best periods of my career and I’m happy to be enjoying it at an important club like Juventus.
“I want to repay the club for the faith shown in me.”
Danilo has become something of a Joker in the pack for Juventus, working in a three-man defence or as a full-back.
“It’s not new for me, as I had also played here in the past. People think about football differently here and you must be able to adapt. Obviously, I can’t play as a striker, but I must be able to play every role in defence.
“I’m happy in this new position and I’m glad the coach thought of me.”
After Max Allegri and Maurizio Sarri, Juventus have a debutant tactician in Pirlo.
“I think his coaching reflects the way he played his football too,” continued Danilo.
“Pirlo always had clear ideas and I think that was a very important part of winning over the squad. The entire team follows the coach and he did really well in explaining his ideas to us.”
