Daniel Maldini scored his first Serie A goal for Milan, with father Paolo proudly watching from the stands, becoming the first family to score with three generations at the same club.
The 19-year-old is the son of current Rossoneri director Paolo and the grandson of club legend Cesare.
He was given his first Serie A start this afternoon against Spezia and opened the scoring with a header on Pierre Kalulu’s cross early into the second half.
It means the Maldini family is the first to register three generations on target in Serie A for the same club.
Daniel found the net in Serie A 13 years and 179 days on from Paolo’s last goal, against Atalanta in March 2008.
Grandfather Cesare’s last Serie A strike was against Catania in September 1961.

He needs more chances, maybe against small teams like spezia, I may say.
History!
So happy for him, Paolo and myself! I’ve been looking forward to this day for a long time.
