Sampdoria have accepted a €20m offer from Brentford for Mikkel Damsgaard, so in turn they can secure Carles Perez from Roma.
There is a domino effect in the transfer market following news from Sky Sport Italia and Sky Sports UK that Samp have agreed a €20m fee including add-ons with Brentford for Danish midfielder Damsgaard.
A medical is essential in this case, as the 22-year-old had risked his career coming to an end when struggling with an aggressive form of arthritis in his knee.
Once that sale has gone through following a medical, Sampdoria can then invest the profit by picking up Carles Perez from Roma.
That is likely to be a deal worth in the region of €11m for the Spaniard.
