In October, the local health authority banned Napoli from travelling to Turin to face Juventus after a COVID outbreak in their team. The Partenopei were initially given a 3-0 defeat by default and docked one point, but the CONI Collegio di Garanzia overturned the decision in December.

Now, the Turin local health authority has confirmed Torino can't gather the team, but Lega Serie A has not been informed yet.

"Our orientation is always to play the games. We approved a protocol together with the government to give continuity to the season," Dal Pino told GR Parlamento.

"We've always collaborated with Local Health Authorities, but if there are restrictions, we must take into account what the Collegio di Garanzia decided after Juventus-Napoli. That ruling set a precedent."
