Diego Armando Maradona Junior celebrates Argentina’s Copa America victory: ‘Dad is proud of you.’
La Albiceleste won their first major trophy in 28 years beating Brazil in the Copa America Final thanks to an Angel Di Maria goal.
Diego Armando Maradona’s son, Diego Armando Junior, celebrated Argentina’s achievement remembering his dad, who died in November 2020, aged 60.
“Being Argentinean is beautiful,” he wrote on Instagram.
“This triumph is for you, dad. I know that from the sky, you are proud of these lads. Argentina champions of America.”
