The midfielder moved to Ferrara this month and has claimed he trained “alone” with a “goal” of securing a move when the transfer market reopened.

“It was a horrible story,” he said at a press conference. “I trained alone, and I had the goal of playing in January.

“I didn’t confront anyone because I’m not the type. Now, it’s in the past. I’m only focused on saving SPAL”.

The Burkina Faso international turns 28 next month and had joined Fiorentina in January 2018. He left the club after only 36 matches and two goals in Viola.

He didn’t play this term and starts a new chapter in Ferrara with SPAL at the bottom of Serie A, three points away from safety.
