Patrick Cutrone is set to return to Wolverhampton and could remain at the club to replace Raul Jimenez, reports Gianluca Di Marzio.

Fiorentina signed the former Milan striker on loan with option to buy in January 2020, but the Italian has only scored five goals in 34 appearances since.

La Viola removed their obligation to buy in December and Cutrone is reportedly on the verge of returning to Wolves.

Cutrone is expected to remain at the club to replace Raul Jimenez who suffered a head injury in December and whose recovery time is still unknow.

Cutrone, 23, hasn’t scored any goal in 13 appearances in all competitions with Fiorentina so far this season.
