Cutrone: ‘Now for the Coppa’

Patrick Cutrone hopes the 4-1 victory over Verona can give Milan more momentum going into the Coppa Italia Final with Juventus.

The Rossoneri mathematically doomed Hellas Verona at San Siro and Cutrone got his first goal in six rounds.

“I am happy to have ended the goal drought, but the important thing today was for the team to win,” the young striker told Mediaset Premium.

On Wednesday night at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome, Milan will face Juventus in the Coppa Italia Final, with both a trophy and a place in the Europa League to play for.

“From tomorrow we’ll think about the Coppa Italia Final against Juventus. I am always ready when called upon by the Coach.

“This victory will help us prepare psychologically for the Final and we’ll try to bring the trophy home. We’ll do everything we can to win.”
