Juan Cuadrado is ‘not at his best’ says Colombia’s assistant coach Luis Amaranto Perea so it remains to be seen if the Inter winger will be available against Milan on Saturday.
The Nerazzurri meet their city rivals at San Siro this coming weekend in the first Derby della Madonnina of the season.
Cuadrado has been struggling with an injury during the international break and will return to Italy on Thursday after Colombia’s game against Chile.
“Cuadrado is recovering from tendinitis, he is still not at his best, especially because he is fatigued at the end of training sessions,” said Colombia’s assistant coach Perea at a press conference on Tuesday.
“At this moment, we must wait to see how his body reacts. We don’t know if he will be available against Chile, but we have remained in touch with Inter’s medical staff.”
