As expected, Fiorentina have failed in their appeal against the red card handed to Juan Cuadrado in the loss against Napoli.
The Viola had attempted to get the dismissal rescinded in order to have him available for the Milan game on Saturday.
Cuadrado was wrongly given a second yellow card for diving, when replays in fact showed he should have been awarded a penalty in the 2-1 loss.
The sporting judge has today ruled that the Viola’s appeal was inadmissible, thus the Colombian’s automatic one-match ban remains valid.
