Chelsea’s Juan Cuadrado is in Turin to complete a move to Juventus and says: ‘To feel so welcome gives me strength.’

The Colombia international arrived in Turin last night and is expected to undergo his medical with the Old Lady today before completing an expected €1.5m loan deal.

“I wasn’t expecting such a welcome, but to feel the warmth of the people and of Italy, where I’ve always been accommodated very well, it makes me feel happy,” he said to Juventus’ official website.

"Yes, of course, the enthusiasm of the fans will always be important for us, to feel as welcome as this gives me more strength to do well.

"Juventus are a great team, one of the best teams in Europe. They have everything needed to fight for the Scudetto again.

“Now we’re starting and we hope with God's help to defend everything that has represented Juventus, and to defend the title.

"I expect to give my best 100%, to prepare well for every game and then the Coach will decide.

“I just have to work 100% and play my game. Greetings and a hug to all the Juventus fans.”
