The South American World Cup qualifiers were postponed due to COVID restrictions, giving players like Colombia international Cuadrado a rare rest.
“We made the most of the break for international duty by getting a lot of hard physical work done,” Cuadrado told Sky Sport Italia.
“We hadn’t managed to do that for a long time. We put a lot of gas in the tank so we can end the season well. I feel great physically and this break really helped so much.
“It’s always difficult when travelling and playing every three days, especially with the time zones and jet lag. Now we feel more relaxed.”
Juventus need to restore their reputation after a shock 1-0 home defeat to relegation-threatened Benevento.
“It was a difficult result to swallow. We know how important it was to get a result, yet we didn’t do it. Now there’s the Derby della Mole, we spent so much time preparing for this game and we have to win.
“The same goes for the next fixture with Napoli (on April 7). We have to go out there and start winning all the games that are left.”
