Juan Cuadrado believes Juventus ‘are finding the right path’ after a 4-1 Coppa Italia win over Sampdoria and assures there is no rush over his and other teammates’ contract negotiations.

The Colombian fired a free kick through the wall to open the scoring this evening, followed by Daniele Rugani’s header, a Paulo Dybala goal off the bench and Alvaro Morata penalty.

“It was important to score goals, it helps boost confidence for us to face what comes next, which will be very difficult games,” Cuadrado told Sport Mediaset.

“I think we are finding the right path and must continue like this now.”

Juventus will face either Sassuolo or Cagliari in the Coppa Italia quarter-final next month.

Cuadrado is one of several players whose Juventus contracts expire in June, but negotiations have been stalled until February.

“We are calm, we just have to do our work. The club knows what we want, we are happy here and we’ll see what happens.”
