Juan Cuadrado wants to see Juventus with ‘this attitude in every match’ after his last-gasp winner against 10-man Fiorentina.

Serie A | Juventus 1-0 Fiorentina: Cuadrado rescues Bianconeri

The Bianconeri struggled to create genuine chances until Nikola Milenkovic’s second yellow card reduced the Viola to 10 men.

Federico Chiesa thumped the crossbar, but substitute Cuadrado got the decisive goal at the Allianz Juventus Stadium in stoppages from a seemingly impossible angle.

“I am happy with the team performance and it was important to be ready coming off the bench. Every time this team proves it is Juve, we must keep growing and have this attitude in every match we face,” the Colombian told DAZN.

“We played against a great team, as Fiorentina pass the ball well, they forced us to sit deeper, but we had to defend well in order to attack better.”

The victory came after a Champions League win over Zenit St Petersburg midweek, as well as a brief training retreat to get the squad compacted following back-to-back defeats to Sassuolo and Hellas Verona.

“Now we must continue along this path. Every now and then, even if we are a united group, we need to get together and remember we are a family, we must fight for each other and the team to the end.

“Words are futile now, we have to talk with actions.”

The last-gasp goal from a difficult angle was not dissimilar to the one Cuadrado scored against Udinese.

“Yes, it was similar, but it was very special for me. I dedicate it to my family, my wife and children.”
