Juan Cuadrado admits Juventus “must play more with the ball and move it around much quicker” under Maurizio Sarri after defeat to Atletico Madrid.

The Bianconeri had 27 attempts, although only six were on target, and dominated possession, but were still beaten 2-1 in the International Champions Cup game.

“I am happy with what we did today, as it’s intense work and we are getting better every day,” Cuadrado told Sportitalia.

The sheer number of scoring opportunities was a pointer that Juventus have changed since Sarri replaced Max Allegri on the bench, although his influence will take a while to fully come together.
