Juventus full-back Juan Cuadrado posted a photo of Weston McKennie dressed ‘like a McDonald’s salesman’ but in the background he revealed the training programme for several players.

After the 1-1 draw with Inter on Sunday, the Colombian defender was in a good mood and wanted to make fun of the USA international.

Cuadrado posted a picture of McKennie’s outfit and said the former Schalke 04 midfielder looks like the ‘new salesman’ of the fast-food chain McDonald’s.

But the defender overlooked the fact that he was revealing the training programme for his fans, as it’s possible to zoom in on the screen behind them to take a look at what’s going on at Continassa.

The programme of several players for Monday 25 was revealed, with gym and swimming pool scheduled for Giorgio Chiellini, Danilo, Alvaro Morata, Alex Sandro, Leonardo Bonucci, Manuel Locatelli and for McKennie and Cuadrado too.

The players who didn’t appear against the reigning champions on Sunday were scheduled to train at 11.30am, including Paulo Dybala, who scored the equaliser from the penalty spot.

Cuadrado’s photo also revealed the compulsory lunch for everyone and then a specialised programme for the injured players – Moise Kean, Adrien Rabiot and Federico Bernardeschi.

  1. I would be mad too. Seeing him play yesterday was painful. He was chasing around after Barella and was turned inside out. He has no upper body strength, Dzeko swotted him away like a fly, but for Barella to do it says a lot about him. I am fine with finding talent from all around the world. I think Paratici made a huge mistake. The guy was playing in Germany. If Bayern and Dortmund were not looking at him then he is not top draw. Bayern swoop in and get the best players in the Bundesliga but did not even think about this player for a very good reason. Sell him to Wigan where he belongs.

  2. @Eddie but he was playing fine with Pirlo McKennie still has a bright future Allegri hasn’t found the formula to get McKennie firing yet or he’s not adapt to his new coach i mean mckennie has been doing fine with the USMNT

  3. He has far too much pace and power to be written off. To others point, the team saw something in him. This is a case of square peg round hole under rigid tactician Allegri imo. Salah was written off as a brainless runner in Fiorentina and at first while at Roma.

  4. ha ha ha pace and power. You guys must have been watching the game yesterday blind folded. You serious @jones what pace. He never made any bursts into the Inter defence as they shackled him. Power like Eddie was saying, dude was out muscled by a dynamic 5ft Barella. Barella plays for Inter not Juventus so do not mix the two up mate. This guy is too preoccupied with tik tok, selfies and partying. You do not see this with Barella, Locatelli, and a younger Ronaldo. They are focused on being footballers first. McKennie is all style and no substance. Coaching is not the issue rather ego. This guy like Ramsay has made no effort to learn our LANGUAGE and that is the biggest issue. If you do not understand or try to learn the culture the coach can speak to him in whatever language and he will struggle. Credit to De Ligt who has been very disciplined in this aspect. Ronaldo could get away with it as he has always banged in the goals despite being a diva.

  5. I don’t know if I see it quite as black and white as that though I agree I think he is a tad unfocused and playing for Juve has gone to his head a bit but under Pirlo, he showed some promise. it could be attitude since then or it could be like some other players under Allegri who just look awful. It’s really easy to lob insults at a player from our coaches but often it isn’t that simple and using a small sample of a few games isn’t realistic of the entire picture.

  6. I tend to agree with @jones.

Albeit the situation is not ideal right now it is too early to write him off completely as a dud. Time will tell.

  7. eddie is righ. if bayern or dortmund were not even looking at this guy then there was no point in getting him. he might do well in epl lower leagues

  8. I fully agree with Enzo. The first thing you need to do in a foreign country is try to learn the language. The lazy Brits and Americans cannot be bothered. Ramsay has been in Italy for 3 years and only knows Bolognese. It is a similar case for players that go to China for the money but cannot adapt with the language and culture. Proper vetting of players has been so poor from Juventus. Moggi and Marotta would never sign a cripple made of glass or an undisciplined teenager. Juventus were always known to be the strictest. That grinta, the dna and soul of the club has been trampled on ever since they decided to go with Sarri trying to be something they are not.

  9. Michael Schumacher was the same when he raced for Ferrari. Couldn’t be bothered to learn Italian.

Ramsay gets along great with Chiesa because they speak in English.

If McKinnie spent more time concentrating on his football instead of trying to bed girls while with Juve or the USA, his name wouldn’t be in the transfer news all the time.

  10. Fish and chips dangerboy is completely wrong. When foreigners go to the PL the media and pundits insist on them speaking English. When the roles are reversed it is a different tune. Ramsay has had more than enough time to learn the language considering he is always on holiday. As for McKennie playing well for the USA does not count when they are playing against Guatemala. He was also sent home by his national team for breaking covid rules. The best thing to do is loan him or sell him to Tittenham Coldspuds as they are another club that likes making foolish signings at high prices.

  11. Fish & Chips?

Do you think I’m from Britain? I’m from Athens, GA (USA).

Not even sure where I’m supposed to have been wrong about the language comment I made.
