The news had been circulating of interest in the Colombian and English papers suggested he was offered as part of a failed bid for Paul Pogba.

It’s believed Juve have negotiated a dry loan – so without an option to buy – at a cost of €1.5m (around £1m).

In turn, Chelsea hope to get in Juve’s good books for a potential Pogba approach next summer, when Barcelona will pour all their cash into the Frenchman.

Cuadrado’s agent Alessandro Lucci has flown to London to push for this move and a medical could happen on Monday.
