CSKA Moscow players Vasili Berezutski and Alan Dzagoev believe they deserved a point “and more” against Roma.

The Giallorossi had been in front until the last kick of the game, when Berezutski’s cross floated past everyone for a 1-1 final result.

“The game was balanced and we deservedly got a point,” said Berezutski. “We certainly should’ve been more active in the first half, but this is a team with 14 leaders.”

Dzagoev had a good chance to score just before the goal and claims CSKA could’ve had even more from the game.

“Roma packed their midfield and it was tough to play through the central corridors. At some moments we deserved more than a point, but unfortunately we conceded a goal right before half-time.

“In the second half we pushed hard and should’ve won it.”
