Tuttosport newspaper claims Crystal Palace have outbid Liverpool for Perr Schuurs, offering more money to Torino and the defender.

The Dutch centre-back has reportedly informed his teammates that he may leave the club before next week with several Premier League clubs interested.

According to Thursday’s printed edition of Tuttosport (page 9), the best offer Torino have received so far is from Crystal Palace.

Roy Hodgson’s side have put €35m on the plate, including add-ons, while Liverpool’s bid is just above €30m, and Torino’s asking price is set at €40m.

Palace are also said to have offered more money to the 23-year-old, almost €3m per season, and although the ex-Ajax defender would prefer a move to Anfield, Palace are currently leading the race for his signature.

Schurrs joined Torino from Ajax for €9.4m in the summer of 2022 and scored one goal in 33 competitive appearances with the Granata last season.
