Serie B side Crotone have sacked Coach Giovanni Stroppa and replaced him with Massimo Oddo.

Crotone only appointed Stroppa over the summer after their relegation from Serie A, but the former Italy midfielder has paid the price for just three wins from nine games.

Replacing him is Oddo, who has been out of work since taking Udinese on a 11-game losing run, leading to his dismissal in April.

However, the ex-Azzurri right-back – who was part of their 2006 World Cup-winning squad – will not take charge until the weekend, with Primavera Coach Ivan Moschella handed the Rossoblu’s midweek trip to Lecce.
