There were serious doubts raised this morning after violent storms and torrential rain wreaked havoc in the Calabria region, cutting some areas off from power and causing flash floods that swept vehicles away.
According to the latest reports from Sky Sport Italia and Tuttomercatoweb, the game is due to go ahead as things stand, although more rain is expected later today.
Both clubs are eager to get the match played and Crotone released a quick video clip on their social media profiles to show the pitch was largely unaffected.
