Crotone are in talks with the Houston Dynamo to bring defender Aljaz Struna back to Serie A, claim Sky Sport Italia.

According to Sky transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio, the negotiations are already in full swing.

It would be a permanent move and not a loan deal.

The 30-year-old centre-back is a Slovenia international and no stranger to Italy, having played there since 2012 with Palermo, Varese and Carpi.

Struna was sold to Houston Dynamo in January 2019 for €0.5m.

He made 49 appearances for the MLS club in all competition.
