Croatia admit they are unsure about when Inter right-back Sime Vrsaljko will return from his knee injury.
Vrsaljko has made just eight Serie A starts this season due to knee problems and will undergo surgery, forcing Inter to bring in Cedric Soares from Southampton.
“I can’t say when Sime will return, only that when the doctors operate on his knee, they’ll know exactly what is his condition and how long it’ll take for him to get back playing,” Croatia team doctor Boris Nemec told Tuttomercatoweb.

“In this case, it’s crucial Sime remains patient and that he works with perseverance and determination.
“We all want the operation to go perfectly, as well as the recovery process. We can’t wait to have him available for the national team again.”
