Croatia and Azerbaijan win

Croatia smashed Norway 5-1, including a goal from Inter’s Marcelo Brozovic, while Azerbaijan beat Malta 2-0.

These fixtures were played earlier today in Italy’s Euro 2016 qualifying Group H.

Croatia remain top of the table with 13 points from five games and a very impressive +13 goal difference.

Inter midfielder Brozovic was one of those on target in today’s 5-1 demolition of Norway, though the Scandinavians missed a penalty.

Italy need a victory away to Bulgaria this evening in order to stay joint top with Croatia.

Croatia now have 13 points, Italy 10, Norway nine, Bulgaria four, Azerbaijan three and Malta one.
