According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Cristiano Ronaldo is ready to testify and talk to the Turin Prosecutors in the financial investigation involving Juventus salaries.

The Portuguese star was among the Juventus players who gave up four months’ salary in March 2020. However, investigators have found private agreements that seem to prove players still received three months’ wages, without registering their debts in their balance sheets and failing to inform the FIGC.

Il Corriere della Sera published the document belonging to Cristiano Ronaldo earlier in January which, however, was only signed by ex-Juventus director Fabio Paratici and not by CR7.

According to multiple reports, Juventus still owe Ronaldo €19.5m.

Ronaldo previously refused to answer questions from the Turin Prosecutors, but according to Gazzetta, he is now ready to testify.

It remains to be seen when and where the meeting between Ronaldo, his lawyers in Italy Salvatore Pino e John Shehata, and the Turin Prosecutors Mario Bendoni and Ciro Santoriello will take place, but Italy, Madrid and Lisbon appear to be the most likely places where Ronaldo will testify.
