Cristiano Ronaldo continues his legal battle with former club Juventus over the €19.5m in outstanding wages and a decision is expected at the end of April.
The row has been going ever since he left Turin for a return to Manchester United in August 2021, with the Ballon d’Or winner insisting he was still owed €19.5m in wages.
Juve maintain he had signed away the rights to any outstanding money when completing the transfer to Manchester United, a situation that was rushed through on deadline day.
Ronaldo requested arbitration in June 2023 and Calcio e Finanza inspected the documentation confirming there was another hearing on February 5.
The Collegio Arbitrale court is expected to give its verdict by April 22.
A note from the Juventus lawyers insists “the club considers the former player’s demands to be unfounded” and they are so confident that no extra funds have been set aside in case they lose the case.
Ronaldo is still playing and made the move to Al-Nassr in the Saudi Pro League as a free agent in January 2023.
