COVID-19 has returned to the Genoa squad, as defender Cristian Zapata tested positive on Friday.
A statement released by the club this afternoon confirmed Zapata had tested positive with a swab taken on November 6.
This means he will miss this weekend's Serie A match with Roma.
The Colombia international was not one of the 22 people – including 17 players – who contracted the virus last month.
They had all made a full recovery ahead of last week’s 1-1 draw with Sampdoria.
