Bryan Cristante admits the 3-2 win over Manchester United only ‘increases Roma regrets’ after the Europa League semi-final.
The Giallorossi had been 2-1 up at half-time in the first leg before collapsing to lose 6-2, and regained some dignity with this evening’s 3-2 victory.
There could easily have been far more goals, but David De Gea had one of the performances of his career with a series of desperate saves.

“Without a shadow of doubt, we threw it all away in that second half and this win only increases our regrets,” Cristante told Sky Sport Italia.
“We showed what we were capable of and it was important for us to push to the very end this evening. We knew it was practically impossible, but we had to give it our all.”
With the injury crisis piling up, youth team players Ebrima Darboe and Nicola Zalewski came on, the latter scoring a goal.
“They did really well, coming on with character. It’s not easy in a semi-final against Manchester United, but they deserve congratulations.”
