The Stadio Olimpico is sold out, although the arena is only open to 75 per cent capacity due to COVID restrictions.

“It’s a big game, we are fired up and know that we have to win. We’ve missed being in a stadium that is almost full, so we will give 100 per cent,” the midfielder told DAZN.

The tension is sky high within the Giallorossi camp after their humiliating 6-1 Conference League defeat to Bodo/Glimt.

After that embarrassment, Mourinho sent Borja Mayoral, Gonzalo Villar, Marash Kumbulla, Amadou Diawara and Bryan Reynolds to the stands.

“The lads are eager to prove themselves. We know how bad the performance was on Thursday, but we are fired up and this is a completely different situation,” assured Cristante.

“We’ve been playing well this season, we simply have to maintain our standards and prove we’re up to the task.”

  1. Supporting Roma today. If they can get something out of today’s match, the rest of us have a chance.

    Those players are trash.
