Bryan Cristante admits Roma players feel more motivated than tired ahead of the Conference League Final, while Leonardo Spinazzola is only focused on the last Serie A game against Torino.

The Giallorossi have two matches remaining before the end of 2021-22. They will play away at Torino on Friday before next week’s Conference League Final against Feyenoord.

“A Final is always a final. Hopefully, it will have a good end like the other [Euro 2020]. It’s always nice to reach this stage,” Cristante told Sky Sport Italia.

“We feel well it’s normal to be a little tired but are motivated, so we won’t feel it. To win games helps create a winning mentality. When you are close, you must give your all to open a cycle of wins.”

Spinazzola has returned to action after an Achilles tendon injury suffered against Belgium in the quarter-finals of Euro 2020 last year.

“I am happy that I can play these two games. I wanted to return to training and of course, since I’ve started feeling better, Tirana has always been in my head,” he said in the mixed zone during today’s open day to media at Trigoria.

“We haven’t discussed the final yet. We have another final on Friday, a crucial game against Torino and the coach is only focused on that. For now, it’s the most important game.

“I don’t know how long I can play. It depends on many things. If we only have to attack, then it’s easier. If I have defensive duties, it’s more complicated, but I am happy.”

Will he play at Wembley against Argentina in June?

“For now, I want to play as many minutes as possible, then we’ll see.”

  1. No Spinazzola just book a vac flight with Chiesa to Chicago’s Cabrini Green and resume playing only next season lest you hurt yourselves prematurely, look what happened to Zaniola went in there and hurt the 2nd knee.
