Genoa defender Domenico Criscito could be out until December after suffering a thigh injury.
Criscito lasted just 11 minutes of Genoa’s 2-1 defeat to Milan on Saturday.
His club have now confirmed in a statement that he had sustained a grade-II injury in his left thigh.
The 32-year-old faces at least a month on the sidelines and may not be back until December.
The Grifone will also be without Davide Biraschi and Riccardo Saponara for at least their next game after they received straight red cards against Milan.
