Genoa captain Mimmo Criscito ensures that the new Grifone owners have the ‘desire to do well’ and bring the club to the top.
In September, Miami-based investment company 777 Partners has bought 99.9 per cent of Genoa.
“The new owners seemed to me very serious people, with a desire to do well,” Criscito told La Repubblica.
“Thye are here to take the club back to the top, I don’t know how long it’ll take, but there are the right assumptions.”
Genoa have collected five points from seven games in Serie A, and the Italian defender is confident the team will bounce back.
“We will be able to get out of this situation, which is not tragic but it is not even what we wanted at the beginning of the season”.
