Hernan Crespo confirms new Milan Coach Clarence Seedorf “asked me to work with him” as a trainer for strikers.
There had been reports the former Rossoneri striker would form part of Seedorf’s staff and the Argentine admitted they were true.
“I am Seedorf’s friend and he asked me to work with him. He asked me for this collaboration and things developed quickly,” Crespo told Fox Sports Italia.
“There are three options: I can start working now, start in July or not begin at all. I would like to be a Coach in future. Clarence’s offer is an option and can be a solid one, but so far nothing has happened.”
It has been theorised that Seedorf wants Crespo to act as a Coach specifically for the strikers.
“We have discussed using a different individual Coach for each area of the team and we are united in that idea. We think it is the right path,” added Crespo.
“I hope and believe in experimentation. Once people said it was madness to have a specialised Coach for the goalkeepers, so this could be an important development.”
