Hernan Crespo sees criticism of Milan striker Gonzalo Higuain as “blasphemy”, and points out “he’s scored wherever he’s been”.
The Argentine hasn’t scored in his last seven games, and there are even rumours that the Rossoneri won’t make his move from Juventus permanent.
“Criticising Pipita’s qualities is like blasphemy,” Crespo, a former Milan striker himself, told Gazzetta dello Sport.

“You can’t do it, you don’t do it. He’s scored wherever he’s been, you’ll see that he’ll recover at Milan too.
“Certainly his teammates need to help him, I’ve never seen a striker who scores a lot of goals without the team giving him the opportunity to do so.
“All I can say is that Higuain played for Real Madrid, Napoli and Juventus. He has international experience and hasn’t suddenly become a bad player.
“He should be stimulated, if anything. He must find the joy that is the fuel in the penalty area for any striker.
“Don’t criticise him, support him, and in the long run that affection will bring positive things. I guarantee it.”
