Paulo Dybala is linked with Inter, Roma and Napoli, but Argentina legend Hernan Crespo insists La Joya is ‘perfect’ for Milan.
The player is now a free agent after Juventus opted not to extend his contract, which expired on June 30.
He had seemed to be on the verge of a move to Inter, but those negotiations slowed considerably after the arrival of Romelu Lukaku on loan from Chelsea.
Now Roma are battling for his signature, with La Repubblica claiming the salary offer is superior to Inter’s €5m plus €1m in bonuses.
“Dybala is the element that Milan are missing and he would be perfect for them,” insists former striker Crespo in La Gazzetta dello Sport.
“He can guarantee quality for the entire attacking front, can start moves by combining with a centre-forward or two wingers, and can also finish them by himself.
“Considering the way he moves, this would also benefit a centre-forward like Olivier Giroud or Divock Origi, as well as wingers such as Rafael Leao.
“Dybala is a champion and it’s always better to have him on your side than against you.”
The 28-year-old has scored 98 goals and provided 51 assists in 271 Serie A appearances between Juventus and Palermo, having arrived in 2012 as a teenager in Italy.
However, despite the fact he is a free agent, Milan seem more focused on bringing in Charles De Ketelaere from Club Brugge at a cost of €30m, or Hakim Ziyech, on loan with option to buy from Chelsea, whose salary would need to be shared with the Stamford Bridge club.
